An Afternoon at Greenvale Vineyards

A few weekends ago my friends and I had the pleasure of visiting Greenvale Vineyards in Portsmouth, RI to celebrate our friends 30th birthday. It was a beautiful day but a bit chilly by the water so we were pretty bundled up. We had a couple of tables to sit around and enjoy the copious amounts of snacks everyone had brought. Greenvale is about 15 minutes from Newport and less than 2 hours from Boston, but definitely worth the drive for a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting!

That’s wonderful Thank you so much for writing this up. I tend to count miles rather than time so we are 65 miles from downtown boston and 7 miles from newport. That’s an especially pretty drive if you go along the water passing first beach second beach and follow the sakonnet River. We’ve just released the Albariño which is delicious. Vibe back for jazz which is every Saturday through mid December. Almost felt like it was December today. !! Happy spring. Nancy
