This past weekend my college friends and I took advantage of a particular number of years (hint: too many) since we graduated to reunite on the west coast. We spent a few nights in San Francisco and then drove north to Sonoma to enjoy wine, food and each other.

A year-round public market recently opened in Boston that is both on my way home and on my way to school so I find myself there passing time (and munching) at least a couple times a week. This year for Christmas, our family decided to escape the cold and spend the holiday together in Hawaii! We flew into Maui a few days before Christmas and then flew to Kauai on Christmas day. Both islands far surpassed any expectations I had and I can’t wait to go back again!

…and even made it across the treacherous river to the waterfall. It was truly breathtaking and worth the grueling hike that left us sore for days.
